Québec City, je suis en amour avec cette belle petite ville.
Finally we meet, Québec City. I have to say, you are one adorable beauty - full of characters. I was so lucky to stay in the heart of Vieux Québec, and thus, my days there ended up being a lot of delish pastries (if you speak zero French, please please make sure you know how to say: Jevoudraisun pain auchocolats’il vous plaît? aka, can I have a Chocolate Croissant, pls?), chilling up on the hill in front of Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, reading which enjoying the peaceful Lawrence River, listening to the church’s bell singing and ringing, and your know, just being so timeless and where-less.
I loved it.
Another incredible decision I made on the last day was to get up at 6am in the morning (well, I admit that my original plan was to catch the sunrise, but failed big times trying to figure out which direction the sunrise was at…) and wonder around the alleys when everyone else is still trying to catch the last bits of their maybe-good-or-maybe-bad dreams.
I was dancing on the streets. Literally.
This is how I enjoyed Québec City, really, hands down one of my favorite cities in Canada (well, let’s be honest, there was only Vancouver before this :P). Go and pay a visit, you will not be disappointed.
